The Disciplinary Process

Accounts found to be owned by anyone under 18 will be deleted immediately. The registration process requires age verification for a reason.

Spammer accounts will be shot on sight. (AKA deleted and/or perma-banned)

In an ideal world, this topic would be unnecessary. Since we don't live in an ideal world, it's expected that an occasional troublemaker might slip inside our walls. The following are the disciplinary actions that should be expected if you should happen to run afoul of the established rules.

Offense #1 -- The user will be banned from the forum for 2 days. Before the profile is reinstated, the banned member must send an email to (this address) acknowledging the infraction with the intent to play within the rules in the future.

Offense #2 -- The user will be banned from the forum for 7 days (one week). Before the profile is reinstated, the banned member must send an email to (this address) acknowledging the infraction with the intent to play within the rules in the future. The member must also acknowledge that further infractions will result in a permanent ban.

Offense #3 -- Permanent ban. No negotiation.

The rationale behind a permanent ban for a third infraction is twofold. First, the member clearly hasn't learned from the prior disciplinary actions. Second, a ban for longer than 7 days will severely impact any games in which the banned user is participating.

If a user with a prior offense has proven to the Staff that they have learned from prior mistakes, the Staff may, at their own discretion, forgive a prior offense.
